Overview

This is a two day training programme designed to give participants new choices of behaviour that will help them to build their confidence and self esteem, improve their relationships at home and work and to develop strategies to become a master communicator.

Workshop Expectations

We expect participants to gain major new learnings from this training programme. They will complete the programme with a greater understanding of themselves and others, along with personalised action plans for using their new skills at work and home. The workshop will improve the quality of participants lives at work and outside of work, developing their potential for excellence.

Workshop Design

The workshop is designed to be packed with content, allowing the trainer to tailor sessions according to the needs of the participants at the time.

The workshop is presented in an accelerated learning style and contains both time honoured training principles and values as well as the latest training techniques.

The workshop is broken into modules. Each module addresses a specific area of communication. The programme takes the participants through:

  • For things to change, first I must change

Module 2: Self Understanding

  • Responding to Others
  • How do I respond to others (deny, lay blame, justify)
  • Why do I respond the way I do (Values and Beliefs)
  • Taking Charge of Your own actions

Module 3: Self Communication

  • Self talk
  • Physiology and Resourceful States
  • Affirmations and Visioning

Module 4: Developing Good Feelings

  • The emotional bank balance
  • Compliments and Praise

Module 5: Recognising the Needs of Others

  • Understanding the needs of others
  • Understanding the different communication needs and methods
  • Meeting the communication needs of all parties

Module 6: Listening to others and creating rapport
