Worth teams up with University of Edinburgh

Worth Consulting has teamed up with Edinburgh University to offer progression from an ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management, or Level 5 Certificate (or above) in Coaching and Mentoring in Management, to a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Enterprise. The ILM qualification exempts candidates from the first 2 years of this 3 year degree.
Candidates will attend Edinburgh Napier University once at the beginning of the course for induction. Thereafter the one day per month contact will be delivered at local regional venues and is supported with online materials.
Candidates will be happy to hear that there are no traditional exams. All assessment is practical and designed around workplace-based assignments and case studies.
On graduating, candidates will be well placed to address business and organisational issues, working in innovative and creative ways to achieve results for themselves and their organisation.
Apprenticeships in Leadership and Management

We are very excited to announce that we will soon be able to offer Apprenticeships in Leadership and Management. We anticipate this new qualification will be in great demand as an alternative to expensive University options. Apprenticeships attract Government Funding - which will provide an extra incentive for employers to use this method of training to enhance motivation, productivity and sustained improvement in workskills.
ILM Graduation Ceremony a great success!

The Permanent Secretary, Dame Gillian Morgan presented awards to the Worth graduates who successfully completed their ILM Level 5 and 7 qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring. The event was held on 13th January 2011 at The Temple of Peace in Cardiff. There to offer their congratulations were Penny de Valk (CEO of ILM) and Dr. Neil Wooding (Director of PSMW). 70 participants attended the ceremony and received a Level 5 or Level 7 Certificate or Diploma.

Raytheon teams up with Worth

Raytheon Professional Services (a Fortune 100 company) has teamed up with Worth Consulting to deliver Virtual Classroom Training (VCT). This innovative training delivery platform allows the facilitator to broadcast a classroom event across the internet to anywhere in the world that is connected! The training carries ILM certification - a guarantee of quality assurance. Worth Consulting trainers will initially deliver the ILM Level 3 and 5 Coaching Programmes (Award, Certificate and Diploma), and the new ILM Level 2 Effective Team Member Programmes (Award and Certificate). Level 2, 3, 5 and 7 Leadership and Management qualifications will be launched in 2011.
This method of delivery is interactive via messaging, microphone and video. Allowing the participant to remain in the workplace - thus minimising the operational impact of keeping people well trained. A VCT session usually lasts about 2 hours. The L2 programmes consist of between 2 and 8 VCT's. The Level 3 and 5 programmes between 7 and 12. You can expect savings of 25% on training spend - as well as eliminating the spend on venues, travel, accommodation and loss of operational efficiency.

The book can be read in 2 hours and has been written in such a way as to enable a manager to give coaching a try immediately.
ILM partner with Worth Consulting

ILM have partnered with Worth Consulting to produce and sell a Centre Resource Pack for the Level 3 and 5 coaching qualifications. The pack consists of all the materials required to run an ILM approved coaching training programme. For those approved centres wishing to offer these qualifications, they can purchase this pack saving themselves the costs associated with designing their own programme and submitting it through the ILM approvals process.

Congratulations to the 43 First Line Managers at Arla Foods Ltd who have achieved a Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management. The bespoked Management Development Programme, designed and delivered in partnership with Organisation Development Ltd, was delivered over a 12 month period.
The success of the programme has attracted a lot of interest from new and aspiring managers at Arla - leading to a repeat programme being roled out in 2010.

NHS Trusts using Training DVD and Training Guide

Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University NHS Trust, Cwm Taf NHS Trust, Powys LHB, Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust and Velindre Cancer Centre - have all purchased the Worth Consulting Training DVD and Training Guide. This further enhances their in-house training and coaching capacity. All of these Trusts have attended our Train the Trainer Programme and are getting fantastic results delivering the 2 day Worth Consulting 'Coaching for Performance' programme.
These Trusts represent some of the largest employers in Wales with over 25,000 employees needing access to quality training programmes. By building their in-house capability to role out the Worth Consulting 'Coaching for Performance' training programme they are reducing their need for external consultancy and training. The Worth Consulting Training DVD, Training Guide and Train the Trainer Programme is proving to be a big hit in helping them develop the coaching skills of their managers and clinicians, thus enabling sustainability and skills transfer - even though budgets are tight!
